Your data, exportable

Lock-in is a reason not to buy. So there isn't any: an agency admin can download everything PMFriend holds about your agency at any moment, from Settings, in one click.

What you get

A ZIP file containing one spreadsheet (CSV) per thing:

  • properties (with the primary owner and handover date)
  • owners, tenants, leases
  • contractors (trades, insurance expiry, preferred flag)
  • maintenance requests and work orders — including the tenant's did it get fixed? answer and the asset each job was about
  • compliance obligations (with the rule name and due date)
  • service-charge statements, line by line
  • assets (the AC units, chillers, lifts you registered)
  • a manifest.json that says when it was exported, how many rows are in each file, and what's not included

Amounts are in cents in your agency currency; dates and times are in UTC. Every export is recorded in your audit log, with who did it.

What's not in it

Uploaded files — lease documents, inspection PDFs, photos, email attachments. Those download individually from their own pages; the manifest lists them as excluded so nobody assumes the ZIP is a full backup of files.

It round-trips

The properties, tenants and contractors files start with the same columns as the CSV import. You can import an export straight back into a fresh PMFriend account — or into a spreadsheet — without editing anything.

Who can do it

Agency admins only, and at most a few times an hour (it's a full copy of your data — the limit is there so a compromised login can't quietly pull it repeatedly). Property managers don't see the button.
